Evaluation Board for ADAU1962A/ADAu1966A 24-bit DAC
The EVAL-ADAU1966AZ evaluation board, from Analog Devices, is designed for the evaluation of the ADAU1962A and ADAu1966A. The board requires an external 12Vdc power supply and ground. On-board regulators drive 5V and 3.3V supplies for the ADAU196xA and peripherals.
A graphical user interface (GUI) program, the Automated Register Window Builder, allows easy programming of the chip in a Windows® PC environment. The EVAL-ADAU1966AZ evaluation board provides demonstration and performance testing of most features of the ADAU196xA, including high performance DAC operation.
The ADAU1962A is a 12-channel part DAC output and the ADAU1966A is a 16-channel part DAC output. Therefore DAC outputs from 13 through to 16 will not function on the ADAU1962A evaluation board.
