The Fluke F923 is a hot-wire air velocity meter with a detachable display. Infrared communication is used when the display is attached to a detector, and wireless communication is used when the display is removed from the detector. The display can provide accurate readings up to 30 m from the detector, without sacrificing real-time data updates to the screen and accuracy. The hot-wire air velocity detector features a extendable detecting rod. The SAVE button on the detector can be used to save measurement data anytime, average value of measurements is also supported. Volumetirc air flow can be displayed directly if the duct size has been pre-entered into the unit.. A alarm threshold can be preset for the air velocity alarm, and a beep and vibration alert will be given when exceeding the threshold. For a higher accuracy, the ability to input current atmospheric pressure is supported.
With Detachable display and wireless communication, the display can be far away up to 30 m from the detector without sacrificing real-time readings, so that measurements are not limited by cables Air velocity range: 0.2m/s-20m/s, resolution 0.01m/s Faster response time, no waiting Thin, long and adjustable detecting rod is very convenient for measuring air velocity in a duct or vent Easy SAVE button (up to 99 data points can be stored), eliminating the hassle of handwriting records in the field One-key calculation and storage of average flow rate Presettable threshold for the air velocity alarm Measure air velocity, flow and temperature, setting of atmospheric pressure is also supported.
