RS PRO has increased its range of coaxial connectors, here we are proud to introduce a new addition to the series of SMA connectors. This female SMA connector socket is a sub-miniature radio frequency (RF) connector designed to interface with coaxial cable assemblies SMA plugs.

This SMA edge mount connector is one of many RF connector types found in equipment such as transmitters, used in conjunction with coaxial cable to carry high-frequency electrical signals with low losses. Common applications are printed circuit boards where they are edge mounted and secured by solder for a sturdy connection.

Male gender SMA connectors have outward pins and threaded connection inside, whereas a female gender SMA have inward pins and threaded connection outside.
