RS PRO, Plug Cable Mount SMA Connector, 50Ω, Crimp Termination, Right Angle Body

This male SMA connector from our flagship RS PRO range is a sub-miniature radio frequency (RF) connector that can be used to join coaxial cables together. This connector has an operating frequency of 6 GHz and accepts mostly small cables.

Coaxial cables (or coax cables) are used to transmit RF signals in homes and business. They're commonly found in microwave systems, mobile telephone antennas and Wi-Fi networks. When paired with a female receptacle, this cable mount SMA connector allows you to join two coax cables together. It has a right-angle body, which is great for hard-to-reach areas.

The connector can be crimped onto a variety of cables, including RG174. There's a plug-type coupling mechanism for reliable connectivity and a robust gold-plated body and it also has a handy hexagonal shape, which you can tighten or loosen easily with a spanner. This provides protection against any task that requires repetitive insertions.
