A range of compression springs from our RS PRO offer which come in various sizes and lengths and with closed and ground and closed not ground end types. Compression springs are very popular as they can store a large amount of energy in a small space making them ideal for a great range of uses.
These RS PRO compression springs also referred to as coil springs have varying degrees of stiffness which is also known as spring rate. Coiled springs are designed so they can push back to the springs original height when they are compressed. These springs are used to keep components from meeting.
RS PRO have a great range of compression springs with wire diameters from 0.2 to 2.2 mm and spring rates from 0.06 N/mm to 22.56 N/mm.
Features and Benefits:
Wire diameter ends up to 0.8mm are squared and unground Wire diameter ends 1.00mm and over are squared and ground Manufactured with a right hand helix
Typical Applications:
Compression springs are a very popular spring and can be used in a number of different industries. This type of spring can be used in: Ball point pens Vehicles Mobile phones Valves Electrical switches
Why RS PRO? RS PRO is our own brand range and brings you a wide range of high-quality, great value products offering you more choice. Trusted by engineers all over the world, every part of every RS PRO product has been rigorously tested against demanding industry standards; theyre only given the RS PRO seal of approval if were confident of their exceptional quality, which means you can be confident too.
Note
The load at minimum working length is the load required to compress the spring to that length. All dimensions and forces to conform to DIN 2095 (grade 2).
