This unique portfolio of Siemens 3SB3 series is a modular range of commanding and signalling devices for front plate mounting and rear conductor connection. The 3SB3 series are round and have a mounting diameter of 22 mm and their actuator is supplied with a holder. Complete units are offered, but only for the most commonly used applications. These units are available with screw terminals (box terminals), spring-type terminals or solder pins.
The 3SB3 series is made of:
•molded plastic in flat, wound and square design
•metal in round design
They can be mounted by a single person and are climate-proof (KTW 24) to suit industrial applications. Their main purpose of existence is to act as safety emergency-stop pushbuttons and their switching frequency is approximately 1000 operating cycles.
The outer diameter of the actuating element of 3SB3500-1AA20 is 60 mm. This is a typical emergency off/stop function device with the vibration resistance, according to IEC 60068-2-6, which is 20 ... 200 Hz: 5g. The mechanical service life has been designed to be used up to 300000 cycles. The ambient temperature during operation ranging from -25°C to +70°C, during storage however ranging from -40°C to +80°C.
