Spelsberg TK PC Series Grey Polycarbonate Enclosure, IP66, Grey Lid, 110 x 110 x 66mm

The TK-PC series from Spelsberg is an empty enclosure with pre-pressed metric knockouts designed to house a wide range of electrical, electronic and pneumatic equipment. The enclosure base is made from grey polycarbonate and there is a choice of either a transparent or grey polycarbonate lid. The TK-PC has a IP66 rating and is resistant to most acids and alkalis.

Grey (RAL 7035) glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate base and cover with knockouts. The Polycarbonate box enclosure also includes polyurethane sealing, and polyamide 6 fibre glass reinforced cover screws.

This article is completely silicone free.

Both are plastic and resistant to rust and corrosion and will not dent – unlike metal. Both at halogen free which is important to consider for applications where the possibility of fire can lead to exposure to harmful fumes.

An enclosure box with knockouts is a hole that is built into the enclosure that has covering of plastic material covering the area of the required hole. You simply break the plastic material and you have a ready-made hole for mounting.
