RawlPlug R-RBP Rawlbolt™ Expanding Shield Anchor Bolt Projecting Fixings.


From RawlPlug this is the R-RBP Rawlbolt expanding, bolt projecting mechanical shield anchor for use in cracked and non-cracked concrete plus meeting the recognized industry standards ETA-11/0479, plus the R-RBP is recommended for fire-resistant applications. The RawlPlug Rawlbolt is the original mechanical anchor with all others produced after the Rawlbolt launch. The sleeve of the rawlbolt is expanding, in 3-pieces providing you with maximum safety and optimal load and can be used in any material. Various diameter of Rawlbolt are available from M6 to M20 and the R-RBL is mainly for use in cracked and con-cracked concrete (ETA option 1), hollow core slabs, flooring blocks and ceramics. This mechanical shield anchor loose bolt is truly all-purpose making it one of the most popular loose bolts available.

  • How to use the R-RBP Rawlbolt Loose Bolt Anchors?


  • Drill a hole (have pre-drilled hole ready) ensure that it is the correct diameter and depth needed.

  • Clean out the drilled hole removing all debris and dust (important to thoroughly remove everything, use a blow-pump).

  • Remove the pre-assembled nut and washer and insert the anchor into the drilled hole.

  • Gently tap into the drilled hole till flush with the surface.

  • Position the fixture over the projecting bolt.

  • Add the washer and nut then tighten carefully, only to the recommended torque.
