The aluminium bar is made from the medium-strength aluminium alloy 6082 and is corrosion-resistant. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. With a thermal conductivity of 180 W/mk, the alloy is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity.
Available in 1-metre lengths with a width of 50 mm and thickness of 12 mm, the flat narrow shape makes this a versatile choice for transport applications. The metal bar is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant and has been fully quality-tested as part of the RS PRO range.
