Discovery Kit for STM8S105C6 Microcontroller
The STM8S-DISCOVERY board aids evaluation of the STM8S family of 8-bit microcontrollers. The ST-LINK module may be detached from the processor board and used to program/debug other STM8S-based boards.

STM8 8-Bit Microcontrollers, STMicroelectronics
The STM8 platform is implemented around a high-performance 8-bit core and a state-of-the-art set of peripherals. The 8-bit microcontroller operates at 16/24MHz, featuring flash memory up to 128kB, internal RAM and EEPROM, 8/16-bit timers, A/D Converters, D/A Converters, Comparators, Serial Interfaces and an optional Display controller.
