Industry standard MICROWIRE™ bus

The ifm electronic speed sensor operates on the Hall sensor principle and requires an operating voltage between 10 and 30 V DC, with a current consumption of less than 40 mA. It has a protection class III rating and includes reverse polarity protection. The output design is PNP with a normally open function. The maximum voltage drop across the switching output is 1 V, and the maximum leakage current is 0.1 mA.
