Solenoid valves generate a magnetic field from an electric current, in turn they operate a mechanism used to regulate the opening of fluid flow valves.
PVQ series of pneumatic valves allow for smooth flow control according to the current. The compact proportional solenoid valve, was designed by SMC with a direct poppet construction. This construction enables low leakage while de-energized. PVQ series has been used in applications such as air blow, flow control, hand piece control for dental unit and other respiratory equipment, as well as cooling for laser machinery. With a long service life of 25 million cycles the series feature a specially coated sliding service enabling the long-life expectancy. The valves in this series are N.C with a variety of mounts.
