The block is used to make or break a circuit as needed, ensuring consistent application performance. As this one has an NO/NC contact configuration, it's suitable for simple on/off functions in industrial automation setups, mechanical engineering and energy distribution centres.

As the unit has an IP20 rating, you can be sure it's protected against dust and solid objects, such as tools and wires, up to 12mm. For your safety, it's also touch-proof.
