Schmersal RSS 36 Series Solenoid Interlock Switch, 24V dc

The RSS36 electronic safety sensor with unique diagnosis meets the highest safety requirements, even when series-wired. It also features new coding functions for the uniform allocation of the actuator to the sensor, this is realised through the integrated RFID technology. The RSS36 has three different coding variants to enable an optimal conformation to the required protection against tampering. The universal mounting features and the optional latching function provides a smooth and rational integration in separating safety guards.

A strong thermoplastic housing offers good resistance to abrasion, dirt and moisture to keep the unit in optimal working condition.

To assemble this sensor along with a flat-mounted actuator, a 25mm screw length is usually sufficient. When mounting the actuator upright, it's recommended to use screws with a length of 30mm.
