The ANSMANN 26650 Lithium-ion rechargeable battery is a reliable, safe quality battery. Compared to the standard NiMH-battery types, the Lithium-ion design produces double the energy density for a battery the same size.
The battery features a safety board to shield the cell from overload, short circuit and deep discharge therefore protecting the battery from misuse, delivering a longer lifetime use for the cell. This makes the size of the battery longer (3-4mm).
The ANSMANN 18650 Lithium-ion battery is known for its long-lasting capabilities, able to be recharged up to 2000 times and ideal for operating under tougher conditions. Due to its low self-discharge the cell retains energy for longer durations. This is reinforced with an impressive power to weight ratio compared to other battery technologies such as NiCD, NiMH or PB.

The Ansmann Lithium Rechargeable Battery has BE26 20R000 built in cell with 26650 cell size. This Lithium Rechargeable Battery has LED charge indicator which indicates flashes red during charge and lights up red when battery fully charged.

Because of the integrated safety board, the battery is longer in size compared to the unprotected 26650 Li-ion batteries. It is approximately 5-6mm longer
