Need to control the flow of an electrical current through a circuit? Use this resistor from RS PRO. It's made of non-inductive carbon film coated in a ceramic substrate. This makes it a good insulator against electricity and heat.
The unit's solder-plated copper leads fit into through-holes on your device, so it's easy to install. For protection against impact and deterioration, the carbon film is overlaid with an epoxy resin.
This resistor has a high level of resistance stability as it meets the requirements of International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 115 and IEC 115-2. Carbon film resistors like this one are often used to regulate current in devices such as capacitors, digital logic circuits and transistors.
