RS PRO Polyester Side Drum Heating Jacket, 450 x 1950mm, 200l

When you need a reliable way to heat liquids in metal or plastic drums, this jacket-style heating element from RS PRO is easy to use and adjustable for differently sized drums.

The heating element is made of durable polyurethane nylon with Teflon and polyester insulation that keeps heat in. It can fit drums between 25 litres and 200 litres and is powered by a 4 m power cable. A built-in capillary thermostat regulates temperatures up to +90°C, and an IP40 rating means it's protected against damage from small tools and wires greater than 1 mm. It measures 1950 mm in length and 450 mm in width with a power rating of 450 W.

You'll find this heating element useful for reducing the viscosity of liquids and maintaining heat distribution in food production and manufacturing. It thins materials such as soaps, foodstuffs and varnishes for easier pumping and pouring.
