StarTech NLBK Series Ethernet Cable, 27AWG Conductor, 5.70mm Outside Diameter - NLBK-50C-CAT6A-PATCH

This ethernet cable provides a screened Cat6a connection for high-speed networking and Power over Ethernet installations. It is designed for use where reduced smoke and toxic emissions are required and where electromagnetic interference must be minimised. The cable suits short interconnects between networking equipment and supports 10GBASE-T performance in environments that demand safety-conscious cabling.

What conductor construction does it use?

It uses 27AWG stranded Pure bare copper conductors arranged as four screened pairs.

How is the cable screened to combat interference?

Each pair is wrapped in aluminium-mylar foil with an overall tinned copper braid to provide S/FTP screening.

What connector plating and power capability are provided?

The RJ45 plugs use 50μ gold plating and the link supports up to 100W PoE delivery.

What temperature ranges apply during operation and storage?

The cable operates between 0°C and 50°C and can be stored between -20°C and 60°C.
