The HellermannTyton Tethered Cassettes are designed to facilitate the transition from a single MTP connector to small form factor (SFF) or very small form factor (VSFF) connectivity patching arrays. These cassettes are factory terminated and tested, ensuring best-in-class ultra-low loss connectivity for the Rapid deployment of ULTRA8 fibber systems, which are increasingly used in parallel optics applications. Compared to typical cassette and backbone cable configurations, Tethered Cassettes offer lower insertion loss, improving system efficiency and performance. Their Compact design enables ultra-high-density installations, making it possible to maximize critical connectivity real estate while maintaining optimal performance in space-constrained environments.
