No, the switch connection is protected by a gasket ring fitted between the components. Its nitrile rubber (NBR) material is highly resistant to liquid to prevent its sealing properties from wearing down. This material also has a high level of strength, so it can withstand pressure build-ups without loosening its hold on the seal.

Cynergy3 offers wide range of horizontal switches which are WRAS approved and have low-cost compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the float switch with the float able to move upwards away from the body instead of downwards.

WRAS is the standard against waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must have an appropriate quality and standard.
