RS PRO Heating Element, 125 mm, 500 W, 220 V AC


Heat a wide range of metal plates and components with this tubular heating element from RS PRO. This sturdy little cartridge heater is well-suited to plastics and packaging applications as well as other industrial environments where there's a need to apply targeted heat.

The heating elements are constructed so that they can slide easily into drill holes, both metric and imperial sizes. Note that the heater must fit in tightly in order to work as designed, so it's recommended that you consider the intended use before ordering. This cartridge is 125 mm long with a diameter of 10 mm.

The heating cartridge is fitted with a 10-inch lead wire that's insulated with fibreglass to withstand a maximum temperature of +450°C. The deep holes set into the lead's ceramic cap are there to stop it fraying when bent.
