This green reflector bulb from the RS PRO range is used as an indicator. It has LED (light-emitting diode) chips to produce a bright light and is suitable for industrial applications.
The bulb's LED chips are bonded onto a substrate to gives it good resistance to shock and vibration. They're also energy efficient as they only need a small amount of current to operate. The component is fitted with a current-limiting resistor to prevent power surges from affecting the bulb.
This bulb's energy efficiency gives it a long lifespan of 100,000 hours and also means there's no need for it to be regularly replaced.
