Add this MCB from ABB to your distribution board to help safeguard an industrial circuit. It has a thermal trip to detect overloads and an electromechanical mechanism to protect against short circuits to minimise damage from electrical faults. As the unit has a type K trip characteristic, it breaks the circuit when loads between 8 and 12 times the rated current are detected. A slight delay minimises tripping when inrush currents occur. This makes it suitable for use with inductive loads and motors that draw a lot of power when they're first switched on.
