Can I install multiple MCBs side-by-side to create a multipole MCB?


Yes, you can combine two of these MCBs to create a four-pole protection and control device. Alternatively, you can connect two additional single-pole appliances to the two separate poles of the unit.

Eaton Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) - FAZ Series


The FAZ series of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) from Eatons xEffect range has a current limiting design providing fast short-circuit interruption that reduces the let-through electrical energy and overload currents that can damage the circuit.

Ideally suited to control circuits and electrical distribution boards the FAZ series of MCBs offer a wide range of diverse protection characteristics, protecting your electrical equipment against overload damage. For additional safety, the MCB breaker cannot be defeated by holding the handle in the ON position, these MCBs are also finger proof and have a trip-free mechanism.

These MCBs have both a thermal and electromagnetic release, with rated currents of 0.16 A up to 63 A and a switching capacity of 15kA or 10kA depending on the device type.

The FAZ series includes miniature circuit breakers, interlocks, busbars and snap-on accessories including auxiliaries and tripping modules.
