The STK500 is a starter kit and development system for Atmel AVR® 8-Bit RISC Flash microcontrollers. You can use the STK500 for quick code and prototype development. The starter kit interfaces with AVR Studio® Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for code writing and debugging. Applications include automotive (car access), home appliances (white goods), lighting (fluorescent ballasts), smart energy (data concentrators) and PC peripherals (large and small I/O devices, PC accessories).
