Schneider Electric TeSys Advanced Motor Starter

It is possible using parallel wiring to connect a TeSys U starter to a PLC I/O module to transfer status and command information
Fits directly into a Power Base module
It must be used with a 24Vdc control Unit e.g Stock No. 493-8987 (LUCB 1XBL)
Each Module has 4 channels, 2 outputs for starter forward and reverse running,3 inputs for knob position, fault indication and position of poles
Interconnection to the PLC I/O module is via a RJ45 connector, ready leads are available e.g. Stock No. 493-9233 (LU9R03)

Schneider are in the process of amending the colour of the TeSys range, from White to Black. This means that the stock you receive could be either of these colours. Please be assured that the colour change in no way affects the Fit, Form or Function of the product.

The TeSys U is a modular system for motor control; it enables the user to create a customised solution for their control requirements, from a series of standard modules. The plug-in modules allow the assembly and wiring before the selection of motor protection parameters and control voltages, they can be created or changed in seconds by changing the plug-in modules. A host of DOL starting applications can be catered for.

Tesys model U is easy to select:

First choose a Power Base- 12A or 32A, direct on line or reversing. The power base includes 2 auxiliary contacts.
Then choose the plug-in protection module by motor full load current and control voltage required.
Additional plug in functions can be selected and added at any time.
The plug-in bases can use any LU9 type blocks see stock no. 493-8779 for base option
