Programming your systems can be done in two popular languages to suit your needs. Both Ladder logic and FBD (function block diagram) are available with additional guidance also offered through free Zelio Logic software.

Can PLCs be used to control motors?


PLCs (programmable logic controllers) like this one can be used to control motors. As well as turning the motor on when the start button is pressed, there are three main interlocks that will stop the motor when activated. These are motor vibration high, overload and motor temperature high.
