The Pilz PNOZsigma series contact expansion module has 4 safety contacts(NO) and 1 auxiliary contact(NC). The contact expansion module expands an existing circuit. As the output relays are monitored via the base units feedback loop, the safety function on the existing circuit are transferred to the contact expansion module. Safety function remains effective in case of component failure. It has a 24VDC supply voltage and has 5 outputs. It has a power rating of 2W and is available in a screw terminal type.
