The FERD series of diodes from STMicroelectronics offer a unique trade-off between low forward voltage drop and low leakage current. A 30A Field Effect Rectifier device features a 25% reduction in forward voltage when compared to a conventional 30A Schottky diode, achieved with no increase in leakage current.
