It takes an input voltage of 32V DC and steps it down to the 12V DC output your attached equipment can use safely. A high efficiency rating of 96% means minimal energy is wasted, while low ripple and noise of 25mV Pk-Pk mean you can be sure of smooth performance. The unit has L-shaped pins and weighs just 4g, so achieves a firm hold without adding drag to your setup.
