RS PRO 230 V AC, 2 x 25 V AC Toroidal Transformer, 500 VA 2 Output
This toroidal transformer from RS PRO is used for stepping power up or down in control circuits. It has a primary voltage rating of 230 V AC and a secondary voltage rating of 2 x 25 V AC, so you can charge two devices at the same time.
You can connect the twin secondary windings in series or in parallel to create a variety of circuit configurations. It's compact and light too, making it easy to install in a wide range of locations. It's terminated with double-insulated lead wires to protect against electric shock.
The transformer is housed in a nylon 6.6 casing that meets the UL94-V0 safety standard for low flammability. Toroidal transformers such as this one are useful for medical equipment, where their low current leakage and noiseless operation reduces interference with nearby devices.
