This Sensata Cynergy3 float switch helps you to keep track of the liquid levels in an industrial container. It also helps you to prevent overflow when filling the container and to alert you when liquid levels are low. The float switch sits on top of the liquid and turns the circuit off when the liquid rises or falls. It's designed for external mounting to the side of a container, which is ideal for containers where there's no top or bottom access. You'll find this type of float switch used in commercial washing machines and vending machines.

This float switch closes at a depth of 9mm and opens at a depth of 24mm.

Cynergy3 offers wide range of horizontal switches which are WRAS approved and have low-cost compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the float switch with the float able to move upwards away from the body instead of downwards.

WRAS is the standard against waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must have an appropriate quality and standard.

These Cynergy3 Horizontal Switches are most likely to be used in vending machines, commercial washing machines and evaporator units.

Suitable for signal switching and for use with transistorised input/low power, suppressed coil miniature relays. Not suited for any inductive or inrush (e.g. filament lamps) loads.
