TE Connectivity M81044 Series White 0.33 mm² Hook Up Wire, 22 AWG, 19, 100 m, Polyalkene, M81044/12-22-9

SAE AS81044/9 is a medium-weight wire. It comes complete with a stranded tinned copper conductor. The wire a high flame resistant PVDF insulated jacket that is also resistant to chemicals, cut through and abrasion. Low smoke characteristics maintain superior performance in harsh environment applications such as aerospace, military, industrial and offshore. Cross linked insulation materials mean that this wire can provide temperature ratings up to +150°C.

The SAE AS81044/12 (M81044/12) was originally developed for aircraft airframes and other military applications. The lead wire has a stranded coated copper conductor with dual layer insulation. This wire offers excellent resistance to fire, chemicals, breaks or abrasion. Commercial and military aircraft wiring, avionics, helicopters, military ground systems and offshore platforms benefit from using the SAE AS81044/12.

NAVAIR has authorised the release of the material identified above on the understanding that all customers are aware of the following.

Despite the product(s) being labelled and marked as MIL-SPEC product(s), the Customer understands that the product(s):

(i) ARE NOT qualified by the Qualifying Agency

(ii) ARE NOT currently listed on the Qualifying Agency’s Qualified Product List

(iii) ARE NOT compliant to the relevant MIL-SPEC for the reasons identified in GIDEP E1R-P-22-01E, GIDEP E1R-P-22-02B, GIDEP E1R-P-22-03B all dated 11 Apr 2022.

Customer agrees that they will disposition the product(s) using relevant nonconforming material processes, including but not limited to obtaining DD1694 waivers where appropriate.
