What's a thermistor sensor?


A thermistor sensor is a temperature sensor made of sintered semiconductor material. If its temperature changes by even a small amount, its resistance will change by a large amount, making it a sensitive means of monitoring temperature and shutting off a circuit before it gets too hot.
