The AMS Trex Device Communicator is perfect for technicians who need to configure or troubleshoot field devices, including valves, actuators and measurement instrumentation such as pressure, flow, level and temperature devices.
Delivered with a device library that supports over 1,800 compatible HART® and Wireless HART™ devices, users can easily diagnose device problems. Simple issues can be addressed on the spot, avoiding unnecessary, and potentially destructive, invasive physical investigation of the problem.
The AMS Trex improves efficiency with an intuitive user experience that includes a task-based interface complete with device dashboards and troubleshooting tips. Users can power devices directly from the AMS Trex, eliminating the need to carry a compatible power supply, imperative on new projects when power and I/O infrastructure arent yet in place.
A PC-based software application is included that ensures the AMS Trex can be keep up to date with new software, apps, download new HART device files when they become available, and upgrade to support FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus devices.
For users that have Emersons asset management software – AMS Device Manager – changes that have been made in the field using AMS Trex will automatically synchronise with the AMS Device Manager database.
