When you need to quickly determine the distance between the threads of components such as screws, nuts and bolts, this steel thread pitch gauge from RS PRO lets you measure thread pitches with a high degree of accuracy. It contains 28 blades that can measure pitches between 0.25 mm and 2.5 mm.
The gauge is designed so you can determine the correct pitch of a thread by simply matching the blade teeth with the teeth of any workpiece. The narrow blades can be used to gauge internal and external threads and are suitable for use on metric threads with an angle of 60°. The sturdy steel case has an easy-to-use locking device at each end that keeps the blades securely stored when not in use.
This thread pitch gauge is handy for manufacturing applications. It's used to ensure that screws and nuts will fit properly into threaded holes or bolts.
