The Renesas Electronics high-performance 240 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 core microcontroller is used for high end motor control. It has Integrated general PWM timer with 200 MHz operation and high resolution. It combines a high-performance arm Cortex-M33 CPU and abundant peripheral functions into a single chip for excellent performance in motor applications. High speed CPU performance and motor dedicated functions realize next-gen motor algorithm and differentiators in motor fields. The combination of a powerful CPU, accelerators, and high-speed memory realizes high real-time performance, which is important for motor control.
