The Seeit programmer is dedicated program microcontrollers as it supports a wide range of MCU like PIG, Atmel, Texas, ARM architecture MCU like STM8, STM32 (ST-Micro) along with serial EEPROMs, SPI EEPROMs, SPI Flash and is much faster than PRESTO programmer, it doesnt require any external adapters for operation.
