Broadcom Spectrometer AFBR-S20M2WV Optical Evaluation Module for Qmini WideVIS measuring 225 → 1000nm

Broadcom AFBR-S20M2WV miniature spectrometer is a Qmini 2 Wide VIS handheld device with optimised sensitivity at 500 nm. The spectrometer has a wide wavelength range of 225 to 1000 nm and has a typical 1.5nm spectral resolution. Additionally, its onboard electronics and many communication interfaces enable full processing of spectra, binning and buffering as well as averaging and smoothing. The Broadcom spectroscopy products offer processing and evaluation for mobile analysis applications and embedded solutions.

The Qmini WIDE VIS spectrometer comes with a replaceable entrance slit and is compatible with the AFBR-S20SK-V2 RS 220-7149 Broadcom’s slit evaluation kit to increase spectral sensitivity.

The optical spectrometry applications include Raman spectroscopy as well as analysis for environmental, forensic and water quality. It also carries out light measurements, Process control and monitoring and is used in Quality control.

The software development kit (SDK) and the user software WAVES are available to download from Broadcom for your spectroscopy applications. Many spectrum evaluation options are available.
